EANO wishes to strengthen its role as THE Association for Neuro-Oncology in Europe and has launched the committee in 2021 to support experts in the field of Neuro-oncology where multidisciplinary is highly appreciated. The nurse/AHP Committee will concentrate its activities on developing within EANO to embrace nurses/AHP to increase the neuro-oncology nurses/AHP community.
The NAC will suggest and discuss new initiatives & ideas on how to reach the aim of the committee e.g. gathering nurses and AHP in EANO activities, in clinical and quality development projects and in research.
It will also plan and carry out a track at the educational day during the EANO Meetings and potential side-meetings for nurses/AHP, facilitate EANO webinars, support involvement from nurses/AHPs in mentees/mentors program, liaison with other committees, identify candidates for EANO prizes/awards, discuss our EANO website content of our committee and be active on EANO SoMe strategy.
