The EANO Executive Board invites you to submit a bid to host the 8th Quadrennial World Federation of Neuro-Oncology Societies Meeting (WFNOS) & 24th Meeting of the European Association of Neuro-Oncology (EANO) in 2029. Applications from all European destinations are welcome, with special consideration given to locations that have not previously hosted an EANO Meeting.

Please be aware that hosting the meeting will require major local involvement and efforts to prepare the meeting and to secure its funding. Please find the bid requirements, expectations for the local host and further information here.

Application Process

1. Get in contact with the local Convention Bureau* (often embedded in a city’s tourist board) to prepare a Bid Book considering the above linked mandatory requirements.
2. Fill in the online application form until the deadline November 30, 2025: https://findmind.ch/c/oM2j-xwdZ

The EANO Executive Board will review all applications. Depending on the number of applications received, a shortlist may need to be compiled. You will be informed of the outcome and may be asked to provide additional information if your destination is shortlisted. The EANO meetings office will assist you in case of any questions and will be your main point of contact during the bidding process.

*Note: EANO has contracted the Wiener Medizinische Akademie GmbH as the organizing office for the WFNOS/EANO Meeting 2029. Please do not engage any other agency without consulting the organizing office.
