Travel Scholarships

One of the goals of the European Association of Neuro-Oncology is to broaden the network of neuro-oncology and to support neuro-oncologists in their (inter-) national research projects.

We are proud to be able to offer several grant and award opportunities for 2022:

EANO Young Investigator Travel Scholarships

The EANO encourages the participation of its young members in the EANO Meeting as well as the presentation of their research work. The EANO Young Investigator Scholarships facilitate young clinicians and investigators as well as allied health professionals and nurses from all over the world to present an abstract during the EANO Meeting 2022.

To make this happen, EANO is waiving the registration fee to the EANO Meeting and Educational Day 2022 for outstanding research by young scientist members contributing to the EANO meeting.

  • Young Investigator Travel Scholarship for Outstanding Science for EANO members
  • Young Investigator Travel Scholarship for Outstanding Science for EANO allied health professionals / nurse members

All young scientists submitting abstracts are encouraged to apply by ticking the corresponding box during the abstract submission. The candidate must be member of EANO, first author of an abstract submitted, graduate student/resident/fellow within his/her first five years of his/her initial clinical or academic appointment (this does not apply for allied health professionals or nurses) and not older than 40 years (this does not apply for allied health professionals or nurses). The evaluation will be done by the respective committee.

The scholarship recipients will be contacted via email.

Application deadline is April 12, 2022.

EANO/SNO Travel Scholarship for Outstanding Science

The European Association of Neuro-Oncology (EANO) and Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) both wish to support the participation of their members at the international meeting of our partner society. This reciprocity travel scholarship is thought to facilitate the attendance of our members, who have been selected based on high-quality abstracts, for our EANO members to attend the SNO Meeting and for SNO members to attend the EANO Meeting.
