The ICP-conference has traditionally been a platform where clinicians from Neurosurgery, Neurology and Intensive Care Medicine meet basic scientists from all possible areas of intercept with the brain, a span that ranges from electric engineers to physicists, and from mathematicians to molecular biologists. We are trying hard to make the conference affordable regarding the "money to scientific benefit ratio" and ask you to contribute to the success of the conference by presenting your latest research related to our topics.

The 9th EANO Conference will be held in Maastricht, the Netherlands, from 16 – 19 September 2010 under the auspices of the Dutch Neuro-Oncology Working Group (LWNO). We herewith invite you to attend an attractive scientific programme with key topics in the field of Neuro-oncology organised in a multi-disciplinary spirit. The local organising committee is already working hard alongside EANO to provide an excellent post-graduate course on the first day of the conference and is very proud to host this important Conference for the 2nd time in this superb environment. The sessions will take place in the Maastricht Exhibition and Congress Centre (MECC), a modern conference venue centrally situated in Maastricht, with facilities for international conventions hosting over 2,000 delegates. Maastricht is located in the most southern part of the Netherlands, where Romans forded the river Meuse. Since then, Maastricht has been at the crossroads of cultures and trade. Cobbled streets, boutiques and castles give the city its special character. The many shops, pubs, excellent restaurants, terraces, churches, museums and the gastronomic lifestyle of the inhabitants make Maastricht a great place to be.
